Story Title: Entr'acte nosurge
Fandom: Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star

Summary: It takes six months for Delta to learn how to see again, how to fight again, and how to reclaim his memories of the time before Interdimend.
But in the same six months, he decides that the power to protect his friends is worth far more than any of those.

When I Started: I started this story late last year for Small Fandom Bang, and then abandoned it after a few weeks because I thought to myself "there is absolutely no way this will be a 10k story". It was not, as it turned out. It was 22k.
How I Lost My Shit: I think this entire writing period could be classified as me alternating between Losing My Shit and Finding My Shit Once Again. I sent it off to my beta, who pointed out that the current 10k draft made very little sense as I was skipping over a lot of logical steps and not really explaining ... well, anything! I panicked, as one does, and then wrote furiously, adding another 12,000 words to try and fill in the gaps of what had happened where.
I also was a bit hesitant to finish this as Ar nosurge is the tiniest of fandoms. It felt a lot like a vanity project to spend so much time writing a story that pretty much no one is ever going to read.
How I Finished My Shit: I decided that I didn't care that this was a vanity project, because this is a story I have wanted to tell since I played the first version of this game almost two years ago. I DO WHAT I WANT, in essence. So I did! And here is the final product.
